About
First opened in 2017, Mindscapes was one of numerous small, artist-owned galleries, studios, and small businesses located inside the old Masonic Temple building in the arts district of downtown Zanesville, Ohio. It was originally co-owned by Debra, Jessica, and Jessica’s friend Shane Boal.
In January 2022, the building and everything inside was destroyed in a fire, but thanks to a huge outpouring of support from the community, most of the artists and businesses were able to move on to new locations. This included the establishment of the Y-Bridge Cultural Arts Center. In late 2023, Debra and Jessica were given the opportunity to lease a room in the center and subsequently opened the new Mindscapes Art Gallery.
Mindscapes Art Gallery is in Room 106 inside the Neo-industrial setting of the Y-Bridge Cultural Arts Center, located right next to the Y-Bridge in the arts district of downtown Zanesville, Ohio.
The gallery is open Saturdays and artist open houses are held during Zanesville’s First Friday Art Walks, held on the first Friday of every month from 5-8pm. Follow the Facebook page for the latest updates.
